Take a well-deserved break in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands for a long weekend escape designed to help you reset and recharge.

This yoga retreat is created for busy professionals who want to step away from stress, burnout, and a fast-paced routine, and take time to slow down and reconnect.

You will experience daily outdoor yoga, nourishing meals, a beach day experience, and time to fully unwind in a beautiful villa setting.You will also take part in a special yoga workshop and explore the island’s volcanic landscapes, all within a small and supportive group.

May is one of the best times to visit Fuerteventura, with warm sunny days and fewer crowds, making it ideal for rest, yoga, and outdoor time.

That is why this yoga retreat in Fuerteventura is designed a little differently, especially for those looking to step away from stress, burnout, and a busy routine.

  • No early mornings: There is no pressure to wake up at sunrise. Our morning yoga practice starts at 9am so you can rest and wake up naturally.
  • No packed timetable: This is not a busy or intensive yoga retreat. All activities are optional. You will have two yoga practices a day and the option to join excursions, but you are always free to choose what you feel like doing.
  • Plenty of free time: This retreat is designed to give you space. You can relax by the pool, explore Fuerteventura, or simply switch off and rest.
  • Dynamic mornings, restorative evenings: We combine energising practices (Vinyasa Yoga) in the morning with slower, more restorative sessions like Yin Yoga, meditation, and Yoga Nidra in the evening.
  • Food that works for you: The menu includes both vegan and vegetarian options, with plenty of choice so you can eat in a way that feels right for you. 
  • Beach day experience (a guest favourite): One of the highlights of this yoga retreat in Fuerteventura is our beach day. We start with a morning yoga practice by the sea, followed by a relaxed brunch on the beach and a walk through the island’s unique dunes. It is one of the most loved experiences by our guests.
  • Massage therapist available: You will have access to a massage therapist during the retreat, so you can book a treatment whenever you feel you need it.

ACCOMMODATION

The retreat will take place at the beautiful Almara House, situated at the base of the majestic Lajares Volcano. This stylish villa offers the perfect escape from the city noise. With its pool and two living rooms, it provides plenty of space to relax and enjoy your free time during the retreat. Yoga classes will take place by the pool area.

Located in the vibrant village of Lajares, you’ll be surrounded by nature while staying close to local shops, cafés, and restaurants. And the beach is less than 15 minutes away!

Our massage therapist will be available throughout the retreat to offer optional in-villa treatments, helping you restore body and mind.

MEALS

Daily Brunch, Snacks & Dinner (Vegetarian & Vegan)

Our private chef, Vanessa, will be cooking exclusively for our group, preparing vibrant, nourishing meals featuring a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Her dishes are inspired by the island's fresh produce and often incorporate cleansing Ayurvedic principles, providing both flavour and balance.

If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know in advance, and Vanessa will be happy to accommodate with alternative options.

  • Airport transfers: Transfers are available for an additional £50 per person, per trip.
  • Alcohol: It will not be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. This is your holiday, you do as you please!
  • Extra food: Additional meals outside the retreat house.

Yes. This retreat is designed for busy professionals experiencing stress, burnout, or sleep difficulties. It combines Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, meditation, and Yoga Nidra with a slower daily rhythm and nourishing meals to support nervous system regulation and deeper rest.


Can I come alone?
Yes, many people do. Attendees often join on their own, which creates a welcoming and supportive environment where it is easy to connect with others while still having space for yourself.


Where do I need to travel to?
You will need to fly into Fuerteventura Airport (FUE), located in Puerto del Rosario, Spain. On arrival, the easiest option is to join the airport transfer we can arrange for you. Full travel details will be shared after booking.


Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?
No. You can secure your place with a £350 deposit. The remaining balance can then be paid before the retreat.


Is the food suitable for vegans?
Yes. All meals are plant-based, and the chef specialises in vegan cuisine using fresh, organic ingredients sourced locally from the island.


Will there be WiFi at the retreat?
Yes, WiFi is available throughout the villa. You’ll have the option to fully switch off, but also the flexibility to stay connected or do light remote work if needed.
